1. Question 6:
What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. Photoshop:
The front cover of my music magazine was
created on Photoshop so; it was very
important that I learn several techniques in
order for my magazine to be up to the
standard that it is now. I have never used
Photoshop before this course; that’s the
reason why I found it difficult to use at first;
however my skills improved vastly as I feel
confident in using it now. I leant several of
these skills by searching and watching
YouTube videos on how to use as well asking
people who know how to use it.
3. InDesign:
The contents page and double page
spread of my music magazine was
created on InDesign. I had no idea of
how to use InDesign before the
beginning of this course however; I
believe I have learnt several skills that
were clearly shown in my work. I still
find InDesign quite difficult to use
however considering I only used it for a
couple of days, I find it quite
acceptable.
4. Blogger:
Blogger is a very important aspect
of my media coursework as this
allowed my teachers to see where
I’m at with my work and what I
need to improve. I found blogger
to be very easy to use and I believe
I could use this in future; this was
because I had already used it
before for another piece of work.
5. Prezi:
I used Prezi in presenting my media
evaluation of my music magazine. I
felt this was very difficult to use
and very time consuming however
the work produced was at a high
standard. I had encountered Prezi
before from others peoples work
however I had never created one.
Since I created a number of videos
with this, I find it very easy to use
now.
6. Slideshare:
Slideshare is an online software
that was used in presenting my
media evaluation. I found this
really simple and easy to use as I
wrote out the answers first and
simply copied and pasted it on a
presentation, uploaded it onto
Slideshare and it was simple
created and uploaded onto my
blog. This took very little time
which is an advantage.
7. Xtranormal:
Xtranormal is another online
software that was used in
presenting the answers to my
music magazine. I found this quite
easy and fun to use as it was
interesting hearing the words
being converted to sounds. This
took very little time also.
