Who was Johann Christian Bach? -He  was born in Leipzig the five of September of 1735, and he died the first of January of 1782, at the age of 46. -He was a composer of the Classical period, the eleventh and youngest son of Johann Sebastian Bach. -He is sometimes referred to as ``the London Bach´´ or ``the English Bach´´, due to his time spent living in the British capital.

Works -He wrote ninety-one works, but only 48 of that works are considered authentic, the others 43 are doubtful. -He wrote a lot of symphonies, and almost all of it are very closer to the Italian sinfonia than to the late classical symphonies. -One of his best compositions is the March of the regiment ```Prinz von Ernst´´ in E flat major.
Leipzig -Leipzig is one of the most interesting cities of Germany. -With 515,459 inhabitants is the largest city in the federal state of Saxony. -Leipzig´s name is derived from the Slavic word Lipsk, that means ``settlement where the lime trees stand´´. -the Zentralstadion.
