CHINASAURS
Now Open Through September 5, 2011
MNS’ Science Building (1318 S. 2nd Ave. in Fair Park)

You’ve heard of T.rex, but how about Tarbosaurus? Or Tsintaosaurus? New for summer are
the Chinasaurs - foreign creatures with exotic names that represent the very latest dinosaur
discoveries. Immerse yourself in the prehistoric past and learn why China is the current pinnacle
of paleontology. You haven’t seen dinosaurs until you’ve seen Chinasaurs!

Chinasaurs features more than 20 full-scale dinosaur skeletons – up to 42 feet long – and
fossilized dinosaur nests and eggs. Five animatronic Chinasaurs that move around in life-like
ways bring the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods to life. Interactive dig pits, hands-on
“touchable” fossils and craft stations will further immerse you in the Chinasaurs experience!

Extend your journey to the past by enhancing your Chinasaurs visit with an IMAX® film! The
money-saving Double Dino package combines prehistoric China with ancient oceans by pairing
the Chinasaurs exhibit with the IMAX® film, Sea Rex: Journey to a Prehistoric World.

Chinasaurs membership special!
Join, upgrade or renew a Family or Family Plus membership during Chinasaurs, and get fierce
dino-deals! Along with free admission to the museum, free guest passes to the IMAX® and
Planetarium shows and big savings on traveling exhibits… take advantage of these offers* and
receive free dinosaur visors, free passes to Chinasaurs, and exclusive availability for dinosaur-
themed birthday parties!

*offers vary based on level of membership

Cretaceous periods to discover creatures like the powerful Liopleurodon, the long-necked
Elasmosaurus, the “eye-lizard” Ophthalmosaurus, the ferocious Prognathodon and the massive
Shonisaurus.

A perfect companion to Chinasaurs, the money-saving Double Dino package combines Sea Rex
with Chinasaurs - the dinosaur exhibit that celebrates prehistoric China.

man.
