• Rural Banks to encourage their clients to apply for the FaceCard
– Customers can withdrawfunds from their GCASH wallet through any ATM

– Considered a valid I.D. for KYC since it includes a photo ID and signature of the
customer
• GXI to set‐up a free dedicated GCash‐Rural Bank‐RBAP‐MABS FaceCard
online portal for the applica@on of the Cards
• Applica@on will be done online
– Do‐It‐Yourself Experience
– Rural Banks may opt for a Branch Assisted Set‐up at their expense

Applica8on Process (Do‐It‐Yourself)
1. Customer visits the GCASH‐Rural Bank‐RBAP‐MABS FaceCard dedicated portal /
webpage
2. Customer fills‐up the online applica@on form and uploads their photos
– Customer indicates rural bank and branch of account (pick‐up)
3. Customer confirms payment for the card using his/her registered GCASH mobile
number
4. Customer notes down the Applica@on No. aTer the successful applica@on
5. GCASH delivers the card to the nominated rural bank branch of the customer
within 2 weeks aTer completed applica@on
6. Card is given to the customer by Rural bank branch personnel for final KYC
4. Rural Banks may opt for a Branch – Assisted Process
1. Customer visits the GCASH‐Rural Bank‐RBAP‐MABS FaceCard area in the branch
– FaceCard area has a PC + webcam (or cell with camera) with an assigned bank
frontliner (all c/o Rural Bank)
2. Customer provides informa@on to the bank frontliner
3. Frontliner encodes informa@on, takes picture and uploads photos of the
customer on the RBAP‐MABS dedicated webpage (completes all KYC
requirements)
4. Customer confirms payment for the card using his/her registered GCASH mobile
number
5. Frontliner provides Applica@on No. to the customer and advises target date of
card pick‐up at the branch
6. Customer picks up the card from the RB branch aTer two (2) weeks*
