It has been my pleasure to work with Mr. Lyle Villarta in a number of capacities within the IT Division at
Texas Tech University. Lyle served as Computer Lab Operations Specialist in the Technology Support
department where I serve as Assistant Managing Director. During that time Lyle was responsible for
maintenance, operation, and technical support for all of the ATLC computer labs. Lyle was responsible
for developing the software image for the systems, configuration of printers and other peripheral
devices, and support of those computer labs for student learning. Lyle has consistently demonstrated a
strong work ethic and commitment to customer service. I would recommend Lyle for any position for
which he is qualified.
It is my experience that Lyle is reliable and dedicated. Lyle multitasks effectively and is able to handle a
high-volume workload. Lyle is a hardworking, dedicated professional and I am happy to provide him with
my recommendation.

This letter is to convey my enthusiastic recommendation of Lyle Villarta.
Lyle and I worked together while he was employed by the IT Division, Texas Tech
University from 2010 through 2012. I am the current Assistant Managing Director within the IT
Division and during the two years that I have known Lyle, I closely worked with and observed
him on many occasions.
Working with Lyle on any project was a pleasure. His interpersonal skills are truly first
rate and he always provided his customers with fast, efficient, and extremely effective service for
any of their IT related needs. Lyles' greatest assets were his wide breadth of computer
knowledge, Managerial Skills, his approachable, professional, down-to-earth demeanor, and his
work ethic and reliability. While working at Technology Support Lyle was renowned for his
genuine concern for his customers, and he never turned a problem away from his office.
In sum, the keys to Lyle s' success are his outstanding computer skills coupled with his
personable and professional demeanor. He is intelligent, articulate, principled, and resourceful.
