There is a big picture of the band that
matches the colour scheme while promoting
their new album simultaneously. It matches
the season and is a refreshing entrance for
any new or old fans to the bands website.
There is a schedule to show fans the calendar
of the band so they are aware of activities and
can join events such as livestreams and talk
on social media about the upcoming
events, creating advertising for the band
5.
There is one continuous webpage with links to
different points. The first section is where the
music videos to their songs are hosted before an
introduction of their albums then it moves onto a
gallery of the WARRIOR promotions before
leading onto a fanboard where their fans can
have discussions.
Because they are under the label TS
Entertainment their webpage is hosted on the
main website of the label but is completely
different in design and the user interface which
properly separates the band from their label.

His website was the first I’ve seen with scrolling
graphics that change and update. I thought this
was a useful feature and it enabled him to fully
showcase his image and concept to people
investigating his website.
There are also updates to the side from his
twitter and instagram, as well as an autoplay to
the bottom of the webpage. I think, although
slightly intrusive, it deepens the experience for
those visiting his website and enables them to
experience him as an artist through his music in
collaboration with images of him.

You are welcomed to the site by a big graphic of
lady gaga in costume from her latest promotion
of “Applause” which was promoted via all the
screens in times square.
The typeface used for the title of the website is
something akin to a signature she could sign on
her CD’s so it feels as if she’s really branding the
website and marking it as her own creation, in
contrast to B.A.P’s website which came under the
company label.
I would like to use a typeface that’s more organic
to connect with lionel hampton’s audience and
make my website seem more lighthearted.

I found their website very hard to use because
the transitions took a long time to load and it
took over a minute to actually enter the site
itself.
The URL changed, which was very confusing, and
there were no tabs to navigate with, only one
arrow which led to an embedded youtube video.
The graphics were low quality and there were
only small icons linking to the social media they
were available on. It wasn’t user friendly and was
quiet alienating to be on.

I could find no official site for lionel hampton so in
essence I am free to create an image for him but I still
want to work in accordance with his values and
promotions during the time he was alive.
I understand that Hampton was a big influence on
America and American culture so I want to consider
this as much as possible, even if modern and foreign
audiences aren’t very aware of him as an artist.
I would like to work with bright colours and a happy
theme and encourage bright lighting and smiles in
the photos/ graphics I display on my website. I also
think the colours of the website should match the
clothing of those featured in the music video.

Their website focuses on the themes of
red, white and black, and the contrast
between the two men Bart and Baker.
They are different from most other music
sites because of their use of red and graphics
which aren’t really common of club remix
producers. This unique style helps them
stand out and have an original
style, something I learned people like from
my study of the history of music videos and
my survey.

High quality graphics are a must
Must be fluid and change what is presented
on the website
Usually have homepage, about
section, music/video
section, gallery, schedule/ fanboard and
merchandise section
Colour schemes are usually basic or striking
and mix easily with the graphics used to
illustrate the website
Usually are easy to use and navigate
