11. STEP 3 : Enroll for Surrogacy Program
• Decide & Enroll to undergo Surrogacy program with
Lifecare IVF & surrogacy centre.
• Get procedural details & charges via email by Lifecare
IVF & surrogacy centre
• In case of need of donor eggs, send your photograph
to select a suitable physically matching donor for you.
• Inform Lifecare IVF & surrogacy centre
your tentative travel date and month and duration of
stay.
• Apply for Tourist visa / Medical visa.

12. STEP 4 : Complete the Recruitment Process
and initial TOKEN payment
• Complete the Recruitment process of Egg Donor
and Surrogacy.
• Initiate booking process at Lifecare IVF &
Surrogacy Centre for Surrogacy program.
• For your egg donor and surrogate preparations,
pay a token amount of 2000 USD.
• This payment will be adjusted in procedural
payment if done within 6 month.

13. STEP 5 : Travel To India
• For IVF with own eggs and surrogacy, reach us 10 DAYS
prior to your next period date and be here for about 4
weeks.
• In case of short stay, you can get part of treatment done at
your place by your specialist doctor and Lifecare IVF &
surrogacy centre can design a specific protocol for you
[for details contact us.)
• For IVF with donor eggs with surrogacy, Lifecare IVF &
surrogacy centre prefer’s to have fresh sample and you'll
have to be here only for about a week’s time after prior
appointment with Lifecare IVF & surrogacy centre.

14. STEP 6 : Visit Lifecare IVF & Surrogacy

23. Birth Certificate
• For Couples both parent’s names appear on the birth
certificate provided one parent has a genetic link with the
child.
• The Delhi municipal council issues birth certificate. It is
wise to have your baby’s birth certificates stamped with
an apostille seal. The apostille seal is a internationally
recognised seal and gives the birth certificate legal
validity in countries outside of India.
• In the case of single parent only the genetic mother or
father can be on the surrogacy agreements and the
baby’s birth certificate

24. DNA Testing
• International clients cannot use both an egg
donor and sperm donor, or donor embryos with
surrogacy, as a genetic link between baby and at
least one parents is required by the embassies of
most countries to grant citizenship and a passport
to the baby.
• A genetic link is established through DNA testing
of one parent and baby. This is a mandatory
requirement for citizens of most countries.

25. BRINGING BABY HOME
Babies born through surrogacy agreements in
Indian are born stateless. This means they are
not given Indian citizenship by virtue of the
facts they were born in India.
Prior to staring surrogacy treatment it is
essential that all intended parents consult the
embassy of their country to ensure they are
able to get citizenship of their country for
baby . If you are in doubt as to whether your
country will grant citizenship for baby please
consult our client managers and your local
embassy

26. Assistance With Citizenship and
Passport Applications
Each country’s embassy has a different
requirements for granting citizenship to babies born
through commercial surrogacy in India .
All embassies required, at least, a signed copy of the
surrogacy contract , baby’s birth certificate, parents
birth certificate, pregnancy medical records, a
signed statement by the surrogacy mother and her
husband waiving parental rights, and a summary of
treatment provided by Lifecare IVF & Surrogacy
Centre provides all documentations required by a
country’s embassy

27. Payment policies
1. All payments are to be made in INR or same day equivalent USD
2. Transaction fee is separate and varies from bank to bank
3. Prices are valid from time quotes to six months
4. All payments are made in stages and are non refundable
5. Advance payment for delivery of RS100,000 has to be made at 32
weeks of gestation. Actuals will be charged and rest refunded.
6. Cost of treatment provided by our partnes hospital may rise from
time to time and will apply to our clients.
7. In case of miscarriages payments should be transferred within 48
hrs

28. Paper work after Delivery of the
surrogate & baby is home
The amount of time you will need to spend in Delhi to
organise paperwork after baby is home varies from
country to country. If organized and proactive, US
citizens generally leave within 10 – 12 days; Australian
citizens 12 days to there weeks, and other countries
approximately two to three weeks. Clients from UK
must be prepared for a 12 weeks stay in India after
birth of baby as the embassy takes this time to process
passports
