2015 ecec summer camp public
1. Children are natural explorers of their environment. They construct
theories about the world that they live in. During this month-long summer
camp, children will be introduced to many outdoor experiences to develop
their Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathema"cal (STEAM)
reasoning through explora"ons of rich materials in their indoor and out-
door environment.
Children will work collabora"vely to brainstorm theories about how things
work as well as create, design, represent and test structures and devices.
Children will have the opportunity to work as part of a team, share ideas
and solve problems.
