Profile
Lewis Reynolds is a London based menswear designer; recently
graduated from The University for the Creative Arts in Epsom. He has
adoration for the decadent past which transpires through his design
aesthetic, to innovate menswear.
With strengths in pattern cutting, CAD and Design, Lewis modernises
historical garments and silhouettes by merging contemporary
cultural influences. Through appreciation of British Heritage and
the theatrical and decorative arts, Lewis pushes the boundaries of
menswear and masculinity whilst adhering to a luxury ideal.
Industry Experience
March 2015 - Sept 2015 - Beau Homme
During this 7 month placement at Beau Homme, I was able to have
heavy involvement in the pattern cutting process of the collection.
Working closely alongside the designers, I was able to learn new
approaches to pattern cutting which I have been able to take in
to my own practices. One of my other responsibilities was sampling
toiles and aiding with alterations for Clients.
