Fall Product Sales	 Training Video for Arthur Girl Scouts

Who is Eligible to Participate? Allregistered Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts are eligible. You must NOT already owe any money to the troop or council. Each girl MUST have a signed parent permission form turned in to leader before sale begins.
Why is your participation important? This fundraiser provides the troop with necessary funds. Troop Profits will be used to help with the cost of supplies, outings, badges, etc. Troop earns  $1 per item $2.50 per magazine subscription $2.50 for each address book completed
QSP (Direct Sell) Option(please have QSP packets available) QSP offers more than 600 magazines with savings up to 85% off newsstand prices. Simply have your customer choose the magazines they want and fill out the magazine form. The pink copy is the customer’s upon payment All other copies go to the troop leader
Subscriptions Earn $2.50! For each subscription sold (online and direct to customer) our troop earns $2.50 and the Girl Scout receives credit toward magazine recognitions AND product recognitions
Online Ordering-A Fun and EasyWay to Earn Girls go to the council website and register by clicking the “Online Magazine Program Button” Girls send e-mails to friends and family There is even a Facebook application Troops earn $2.50 for each subscription sold online (customer pays online)  Girl Scout receives credit toward magazine recognitions AND product recognitions 12 emails sent earn an Online patch
Detailed Order Report-Important! Must log in to run this report Run this report the day the Girl Scout turns in her order card and give it to the troop leader This report lets the troop leader know the number of online subscriptions sold and the dollar amount of those subscriptions  It also let’s the leader know if 12 or more e-mails were sent. (12 sent emails earn the “Online” patch)

Another way to earn is the address booklet For each address booklet completed the troop earns $2.50 The Girl Scout also earns the “Together to the Top” patch Remember you are just providing    addresses – there is no obligation for these people to order.
Magazine Recognitions 1 completed address booklet: Together to the Top patch   4 Adopt-a-Soldier donations: Share patch  12 sent emails: Online patch 3+ subscriptions: Investing in Today patch 5+ subscriptions: Success for Tomorrow Patch AND 	Fashion Design Sketchbook 7+ subscriptions: Pencil Case OR Pink Pen and Cupcake bookmark 10+ subscriptions: Blue Ribbon Tote or Fox Plush
Adopt-A-Soldier Customers have an opportunity to show support to our troops by donating $5 to Adopt-a-Soldier Money goes toward the purchase of magazine vouchers State Farm’s Adopt-a-Soldier program will send voucher to troops in war zones Troops can “catch up” on news from home A great and fun way to “Give Back”
Adopt-A-Soldier Details Adopt-A-Soldier donations ($5) have a separate column on order card Adopt-A-Soldier orders are placed just like any other order For each $5 donation the GS receives credit for one nut or candy sale toward earned recognitions Troops receive $1 for each $5 donation Girls earn a Share patch for four Adopt-A Soldier’s sold.

Nutty Bucks Option Starting at the 35+ level, girls have the option of choosing recognitions OR “Nutty Bucks”. If a girl chooses “Nutty Bucks” she earns as follows:   35+ items: $4 total Nutty Bucks 50+ items: $9 total Nutty Bucks 65+ items: $15 total Nutty Bucks 80+ items: $27 total Nutty Bucks 100 + items:$42 total Nutty Bucks
Important Note about “Nutty Bucks” If a girl chooses Nutty Bucks Option at level 3 (35 items) then she must continue to choose Nutty Bucks at Level 4,5,6 and 7 Likewise if a girl chooses recognitions at level 3, then she must continue to choose recognitions at levels 4,5,6 and 7 May be used at trefoil shops, GSCI sponsored programs, trips, day camps, residence camps
Completion of order card When you are done selling items, it is important that you properly complete your order form. Please total each line of the order form if your customers have not already done so. Then total each product line A – N and write the total at the bottom of each column. Total the cost for each product column. Total all items and cost of all items. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR FIGURES FOR ACCURACY!!! Make sure recognition choices are indicated on the back of the order card.
DATES TO REMEMBER Sale Dates:September 30 to October 16 Forms Due:Order cards, magazine order forms, address booklets, and online detailed order reports are due to leader no later than October 16th.  STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT THESE FORMS BE TURNED IN AT OUR OCTOBER 13TH MEETNG!!! Parent Product Pick up Date and time will be announced later (expected to be Nov. 7th at 5pm) Customer deliveryis Nov 7-11 Money DueDate is November 16th.

Important Note about “Nutty Bucks” If a girl chooses Nutty Bucks Option at level 3 (35 items) then she must continue to choose Nutty Bucks at Level 4,5,6 and 7 Likewise if a girl chooses recognitions at level 3, then she must continue to choose recognitions at levels 4,5,6 and 7 May be used at trefoil shops, GSCI sponsored programs, trips, day camps, residence camps
  • 23. Completion of order card When you are done selling items, it is important that you properly complete your order form. Please total each line of the order form if your customers have not already done so. Then total each product line A – N and write the total at the bottom of each column. Total the cost for each product column. Total all items and cost of all items. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR FIGURES FOR ACCURACY!!! Make sure recognition choices are indicated on the back of the order card.
