Legal jobs are becoming harder to find, but the founder of LawCrossing, an employment site
for legal jobs, is launching a new elite service called LawCrossing Concierge to help with just
that. LawCrossing Concierge is designed for attorneys who want a new job, but don’t have time
to spend hours a day filling out applications.
Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) December 06, 2013 -- The job market for prospective lawyers today is seemingly
bleak. According to an article published in ABA Journal on April 1, 2013,
http://www.abajournal.com/news/article/job_market_for_wouldbe_lawyers_is_bleaker_than_it_looks_analysis_says/, “only 55.1 percent of all 2012 law school graduates were
employed in full-time, long-term lawyer jobs” as of Feb 15, 2013. The author, Mark Hanson, also points out
that “fewer than half of the graduates at 66 schools—one-third of all ABA-accredited schools—were working
in full-time, long-term legal jobs.”
While these statistics certainly could deter would-be lawyers from pursuing a legal degree, people who have
been in this field for many years are also having a difficult time finding a job. In order to help those in need,
there are services now available to help attorneys. One of these is LawCrossing Concierge, founded by Harrison
Barnes, who is also the CEO of LawCrossing. LawCrossing Concierge offers legal job seekers assistance with
the job search. Each member of LawCrossing Concierge has his/her resume reviewed by Barnes, and following
his recommendations, his hand-picked team of recruiters then identify and apply for jobs that best fit each
client.
Not only is the hard work of the job search done for them, but using this service will help attorneys find lesser
advertised jobs that they might not have the opportunity to find on their own; the jobs for smaller firms are less
publicly advertised. This gives users of LawCrossing Concierge a leg up on the competition.
Currently, LawCrossing is making this service available to job seekers for only $299 per month. This is an
introductory price that the company has announced in order to get the word out about this program, and to help
as many people as possible to take advantage of this offering.
