1. Dear Mr. Davis,
The following is a list of activities that happened in the media
center during the month of November.
*Author Patsy Smith Roberts visited and shared her books and
stories about her trips to Africa.
*We applied for the Satilla REA grant to purchase Kindle’s on a
trail basis.
*We completed our Staff Development Lessons on Blogs and
Wikis.
*We completed a lesson on Galileo for grades 3-5.
*We received 10 new books from the “Books Are Fun” program.

2. *The kindergarten classes read the book Napping House and
completed a series of art projects on the book.
*We started our 500 Books in 500 Days reading program.
*We had parent night where students could read books with
their parents and the 3
rd
grade classes presented their animal
projects on Animals in Georgia.
*Nov. 4

I attended grade level meetings with K-5 teachers to
collaboratively plan lessons.
*We only had 4 books lost.
*We had 5,924 circulations.
*Mrs. Luke’s class won the prize for the most books read this
month.
*We have almost reached our goal for our school wide AR
party.
* The book fair was a great success!
*Training for Destiny will be Jan. 6
