will is an illusion or reality, we are
looking into an abyss. What seems
to confront us is a plunge into
nihilism and despair.”

be glad for. After all the fights have
been fought, in a post-futuristic

11. The logo is an epitome of
sustainability, environmentally-
friendly attitudes and ecological
measures in business.
The logo is composed of a stylized
berry, colored in a light wood hue.
Symmetry and balance are used to
reflect the trustworthiness of the
brand.
The logo
The concept was revolving around
the idea of a business that is built
on ethical principles so that all the
stakeholders are considered and
protected.
In an era of over-abundance,
flashing colors, intruding
advertising and consumerism, the
BerryTree logo has to speak of a
laid-back brand which offers air
and space so that the consumers
take their own decisions.
The chosen typeface is legible, solid
and clean, to support concepts
such as integrity and wholeness, as
well as the timelessness of simple
wooden toys. With slightly rounded
terminals, it resembles the smooth
sanded surfaces and edges of the
wooden toys.
The similitude to a stamp indicates
the certified materials used in the
manufacture of the toys.
Another imperative factor was the
target audience and what visual
styles are they usually exposed
to. Scandinavian design with its
purity, elegant lines and minimal
chromatics was considered as a
source of inspiration.
