2. About me
• I grew up in Bardstown, Kentucky and
graduated from Bethlehem High School. I
was a part of a lunchtime news show and
that’s where I developed my passion for
broadcasting. After attending The University
of Kentucky for several years I decided to
go for it and become a broadcast major. I

I will graduate from the
University of Kentucky in 2012
with a Degree in Broadcast
Journalism.

• I have worked with The
Kentucky Standard to
further develop my
Writing skills
• I wrote stories about
different sports activities
that occured around
Bardstown, KY

5. Internships
• I was an Intern at
WLEX18 News Station. I
learned a lot about
shooting and editing
sports stories.
• I currently intern with
Kentucky Sports Radio,
covering University of
Kentucky men’s
basketball.

7. I want to graduate from The University of
Kentucky with my degree in Broadcast
Journalism. I want to graduate with a good
GPA and several internships.

8. After graduation, I want to make an anchor audition
tape and send it out to news stations all over the
country. I hope to get call backs and get a job that I can
learn a lot at and work my way up.

9. ESPN
• One of my biggest goals is to make it to
ESPN to be a sports broadcaster. It’s the
ultimate in sports journalism and I would
consider myself extremely lucky to work
there.
