Lakeland College interior design students create a portfolio of their work from their two year diploma program. This is Brenna Senger from the Class of 2016.
3. NKBA Kitchen
Problem: Create a traditional style kitchen in a pre -
existing home while following the guidelines of the
National Kitchen and Bath Association.
Deliverables: Concept statement, working drawings,
perspective and material board.

Problem : Create a traditional
style bathroom with the NKBA
guidelines.
Deliverables : Concept
Statement, material board,
working drawings and
perspectives.
6. Kiosk
Heated Secrets
Problem: Create a 200 sqft kiosk for an
international airport.
Deliverables: Concept statement,
SketchUp model, material board, and
packaging.
8. Retail
Touring Strings
Problem: Create a retail environment within
the given space with an accessible washroom
and storage for products.
Deliverables: Concept statement,
working drawings, SketchUp model, material board and
perspective rendering.
10. Retail Ceiling
Problem: One requirement was
to enhance on the ceiling and
make it a more unique focal point
in the space.
Solution: An acoustic panel
wood ceiling that mimics the
body of a guitar. A patina metal
creates the pick guard and an
LED screen helps reinforce the
nature theme. Cable lighting is
added to mimic the strings on a
guitar as well.
11. Problem: Re-design
the bar and student
activity center on
campus.
Deliverables:

rustic and western theme with
heavy emphasis on woods and
