3. So what? People are dying from cancer, every minute, all around the world. Cancer kills more people globally than HIV/AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined. The world’s leaders need to act. We were instrumental in getting the United Nations to take notice. Now we need a unified, global commitment to action.
4. Then what? If we act, we can save lives right now. We have seen effective examples in India, Haiti, and other countries around the world. Will we stand by and watch people suffer and die needlessly or will we act – one world, with a unified goal of saving lives?

We want more than a meeting in Sept. We want leaders to do something about the problem… We have solutions that work in even the poorest settings. And those people deserve to survive. We know what will happen if we don’t do anything – people will continue to die of cancer/NCDs.
