networking in general is a great way to get to
know people. It doesn’t have to be trying to
sell something, you don’t have to have some
motive, but because you’re building
relationships, when you do want to sell them
something or when you want to buy something
from them, or just want their advice, you’ve
already been to lunch with them, you’ve
already been to an event with them, you just
know them by then”

Key Points
Decision to expand:
It’s important to get out of your comfort zone constantly. Blueky’s
expansion to the Cook Islands was exptremely challenging but
taught him that development is all about taking the risks.
Setting Goals
It’s important to constantly strive for improvement. Bluesky’s
expansion wouldn’t have taken place if it didn’t set the goal to
become more regional and inclusive, because its main goal is to
provide better communication resources for all over the South
Pacific.

The team matters
In order to reach company goals, Bluesky needs a strong
foundation, people who make up this foundation need to acquire
more than a strong set of skills in terms of their occupation, but
strong relationship building skills. People who make up the team
truly need to think for all and not for one
Networking
Networking doesn’t have to be a responsibility, possessing a
willingness to put yourself out there and be as social as you can
is all you need. It’s simply meeting people and building
relationships, ideally at a fast pace.
