2. Used for creating an art piece and sold as an aesthetic
artifact
Used for piggy bank by drying special breads and cutting
appropriately or molding it into required shape.
Used to build prototype structures of rare and historic
buildings and displayed in a “Bread Museum”-Buildings
Used in research labs to check for bacteria and fungi
growth and also post mortem it for quality standards
Used as an alterative to sanitary napkins in desperate
conditions ( soft breads )
3. This is all very predictable from the pictures on the
first slide, hence I am interested in talking about the
rest of the possibilities.
We could have an emotional connect with the kind of
bread we associate with , by making a short film with
the type of bread we buy and name the title of the
short as “The day when I and my sandwich bread
walked home”
Blog it after shooting the bread and creating an
animation of the bread people in the art grid will go
mad with the description.
4. Well there is still some room to make it more
interesting
Think of making a sustainable business of growing
fungus on the bread and selling it to biologists.
Think about selling bread to cannibals by modifying
the bread to look like flesh
Think about preserving bread for 6 months by some
way to sell it to the Eskimos in the summer so that it
lasts for an year or longer
5. Why waste a loaf of bread , food is invaluable, Millions
of people die due to hunger
Why be over creative in such things to run creative
businesses out of fundamental necessities and waste
the resources
Invest creativity in right areas perhaps
To me:
Bread is to consume not for art or for hobby
6. Respect bread, eat it or give it to the needy
Please don’t do this in the name of creativity
