Nu barchgeo.com haar gratis versie om Google maps met winkeladressen te maken, beperkt heeft tot 250 adressen, zocht ik een andere manier om de dealeradressen in de Facebook tab van FitFlop Benelux te updaten. @raphaelcockx suggereerde GPSVisualizer.com. Een geweldige tool, maar qua UI zijn we anders gewend :) Daarom deze korte presentatie over hoe je een Google maps kaart toevoegt aan een Facebook tab.

1. Batch Geocode Dealeradressen
+250 adressen

2. Plakken vanuit Excel. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V

3. GPS visualiser gaat de tabel als
tekst converteren en daarna
kan je kiezen tussen
- Kaart maken
- GPX file maken
Kies ‘Draw a map’/Kaart maken

4. Kies terwijl de
adressen laden de
‘more map options’
link

5. Bij ‘Track Options kies
je in het item ‘Build a
floating list of all
tracks: ’ de keuze
‘no list’

6. Vul ‘General Map parameters’
in
• Width: 851
• Height: 944
• Center point:
48.646455,3.25195
(in dit format, copy paste aub:
geen spaties, punten en
komma’s respecteren
• Initial Zoom level: 6
(voor een Benelux-only map
mag dat 7 zijn)
Ga dan naar Waypoint
options en klik ‘advanced
options’ open

7. Bij ‘Advanced Waypoint Options, vul
je volgende zaken in:
- Bij ‘Synthesize name’:

- Bij Synthesize description’:

Indien je uitgaat van de velden in de
FitFlop dealerlijst.
Anders ga je de veldnamen uit je CSV-
bestand moeten invullen tussen de
accolades: {veldnaam}

8. Klik ‘Draw the Map

11. Tekst boven de kaart:
