CLOUGH ENERCORE HAS DEVELOPED INNOVATIVE AND
PROPRIETARY SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS THAT ADD VALUE AND
REDUCE COSTS ACROSS THE ASSET LIFECYCLE. THESE SOLUTIONS
HAVE BEEN INTEGRATED INTO OUR PROJECT DELIVERY MODEL TO
PROVIDE A FRESH APPROACH FOR CLIENTS LOOKING FOR A NEW
WAY OF DOING BUSINESS.
Engineering Technology
Clough Enercore uses the latest engineering
technology to maximise the value from engineering
deliverables across the asset lifecycle. Our engineers
have significant experience and capability in the use
of Intergraph’s SmartPlant Enterprise suite while our
systems, procedures and workflows enable effective
and efficient project management, cost control and
concurrent, multi-discipline design. By utilising 3D
modelling and intelligent design systems (Smart
3D), we maximise the benefits of data integration
throughout the engineering, fabrication and
construction phases of our projects.
Our global network of engineering centres use
Cloud based technology to enable 24/7 engineering
support for our clients.
Lean Workforce Models
Clough Enercore implements a lean workforce
model, conducting the majority of engineering work
out of our global network of operating centres. This
minimises the number of permanent personnel
mobilised to site and more efficiently manages work
demand, resulting in significant cost savings.
ClearView Daily Reporting
ClearviewTM
is a Clough proprietary daily reporting
system developed to avoid productivity breakdowns
on major construction projects. The system
works to last planner principles where a 30 day
construction plan is locked in, sequencing the
critical path activities, day by day, with activity
durations expressed in hours. Once the plan is in
place, there is no re-base lining. Progress is reported
on a daily basis against the original critical path
activities. Every activity is compared with a “technical
limit” of what could be achieved.
Daily reports are shared with clients to promote an
open and collaborative approach to construction.
Reports include a detailed summary of critical path
progress against plan, including HSE performance,
schedule, productive and non-productive time, cost
and potential productivity or safety issues that could
impact project performance.

Value Improvement Programs (VIP)
Value Improvement Practices (or VIPs) can improve
costs, capital efficiency, scheduling, and team
alignment. Clough Enercore conducts Value
Improvement Workshops with clients in the early
project planning stages enhance project definition
and value by identifying and eliminating any waste
and selecting the right construction methodology.
Clough Enercore VIPs have identified process
improvements and alternative construction
methodologies that have reduced project costs by
40 per cent, helping make the project commercially
viable.
Project Manager Academy
Lack of project management expertise has been
cited as one of the root causes of cost and schedule
issues on projects.
The Clough Project Manager Academy program
aims to overcome this industry wide issue by
training Clough certified project managers to be
the best in the industry. Participants undertake an
intensive project management course consisting of
e-learning, workshops, on-the-job experiences and
completion of the Advanced Certificate in Project
Management at Stanford University in the USA.
The training will see Clough Enercore project
managers progress from a Clough Certified Project
Practitioner, to Project Manager to the ultimate
Clough certification of Project Master. Successful
students will also receive the globally recognised
Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
accreditation.

Lean Workforce Models Clough Enercore implements a lean workforce model, conducting the majority of engineering work out of our global network of operating centres. This minimises the number of permanent personnel mobilised to site and more efficiently manages work demand, resulting in significant cost savings. ClearView Daily Reporting ClearviewTM is a Clough proprietary daily reporting system developed to avoid productivity breakdowns on major construction projects. The system works to last planner principles where a 30 day construction plan is locked in, sequencing the critical path activities, day by day, with activity durations expressed in hours. Once the plan is in place, there is no re-base lining. Progress is reported on a daily basis against the original critical path activities. Every activity is compared with a “technical limit” of what could be achieved. Daily reports are shared with clients to promote an open and collaborative approach to construction. Reports include a detailed summary of critical path progress against plan, including HSE performance, schedule, productive and non-productive time, cost and potential productivity or safety issues that could impact project performance. Intelligent 3D engineering Multi-disciplined engineering design services that adopt a full lifecycle approach Integrated and proven project management systems Cloud based technology New Mobile Platforms
