You can apply additional aqueous coatings to facilitate adhesion of the ink. While both HDPE and LDPE in its virgin (or pure) form, are 100% recyclable, this advantage may be severely devalued or reduced in the case of composite plastic sheeting (tarps vinyl) that have been coated and printed.

1. It all began with, a Swiss brand that came up with the notion of using tarps from trucks to create
messenger bags. After That, it was only a matter of time before more designers saw the potential in
large PVC canvases from advertising to use the materials in a similar ways (check out Modulab and
Baumm ) .
Even if the concept is not new, designers continue to come up with good ideas, to re- use this material.
Chilean brand Reprint acerca 've thought a clever one : shower curtains . They also have cushions,
beanbags and sofa chairs, and offer FURNITURE WITH refurbishing your prints. Check them out in the
extended.Reprint is run by designer Rosario Contreras Torres, and is one of the many interesting brands
experimenting with recycled materials have That Emerged from Chile in the last months .
If you have not yet, Please check out the work of other locals: Camila Labra’s boots plastic bag, and

They are everywhere. We inform and sell. We advertise on shows that do not have to lose and end
within thirty days, to cite one example.
Are vinyl tarps, in the form of banners and posters, found a space in our daily life is becoming larger?
This material is made of polyester and PVC fiber, two names for the same substance: 100 % plastic.
What about that sign and ends when that sample and nobody cares to read it? In the best case is reused
with any useful purpose, at worst, is buried in a landfill where it will take between one and two
thousand years to degrade. But usually (! Thankfully) ends somewhere forgotten.
That begins this work.

BANNERS , OUR DESIGN AND PROCESS
2. Each of our products is unique and unrepeatable , there never will be another like the model can be
repeated many times, but the design, color scheme , graphics and drawings, are detected on the canvas;
cutting of parts and apparel for the entire product is handmade, one by one ...
Some tarps come brand new , slide down and pass directly into a different product, coming from other
tanks or containers require prior washing process of restructuring as it somehow , and that is also done
manually, by hand one a ...
Our goal is to help the environment through responsible actions, problems such as the different types of
pollution, global warming, the environmental impact caused by various forms of consumption in our
environment, are solvable by good sorting and recycling strategy, is may lessen as we all do care of the
problem.
A Little History
More or less a year ago, in August / September 2009 my friend Romina Antonio, graphic designer,
phoned me and said: 'I have a canvas, pulling at my school, I thought I could do something ... I came to
you and I see, we can make some bags, something.
That was my first contact with the vinyl tarps posters, or second , that the first visual contact had done
for years, I just never had imagined turned into nothing but signs were not ...
We worked together a while, as was finding canvases, drawings, typefaces, cut , sewed , drew ...
designing re designing; discovered all this information that we are outside that has to do with protecting
the environment, to be a responsible consumer, I started wondering where will my trash, which
produces waste that I produce, and took an important decision, dedicate to recycle, canvases and
everything what can be given re- use of organic creatively, and functional ...
I did not stop more ... ! this leads me without the plan too, nobody sat in a bar saying I will do this, this,
and this other also, everything will unfold just ... here only cut and sew ... one by one by hand, with love
...
Today tarps come from every conceivable place, friends, graphic, containers, power, tanks, thanks to the
people putting you love, like us, and help us to work, to look after the environment a little bit ...

Coated Tarpaulins
Is the material of choice for posters is a composite of three layers wherein the polyester reinforcing
canvas is flexible PVC coated on both sides to result in the formation of the desired fabric.
Both PVC and polyester reinforcement in pure (or virgin) are 100% recyclable way to melt them and turn
them into pallets.
However, to be integrated PVC coating on the polyester reinforcing canvas, makes separation of the
components is economically inconvenient, so that the complete recycling is not possible (it is not
economically possible because it gives loss). The industry is constantly looking for alternatives to the use
3. and reuse of materials with less environmental impact.
Innovative solutions have been designed to complete and close a circle for each particular waste, with
secondary applications that can use the waste of that waste, redundant.
This is necessary to avoid landfill with toxic PVC and phthalate plasticizers that can drain and provide a
variety of health risks in the long term.
------------------------The polyethylene based materials, such as pure hydrocarbon prevent environmental stigma of toxic
waste PVC and health risks of phthalate plasticizers serenade. Similarly, the flexible fabric of PE
(polyethylene) is similar in construction to their counterparts in a HDPE base canvas is coated with LDPE
on both sides to obtain a fabric composed of three layers.
You can apply additional aqueous coatings to facilitate adhesion of the ink. In the terminology (or
