-Specific to nursing, the human can be a patient or nurse -Contrary to the current holistic view of humans, where the human is the sum of various parts (for example, body, mind and spirit) a unitary human is an entire energy field which cannot be broken down into subsystems
-The setting can be anything for example, the room you’re in, the country you’re in, the planet you’re on -It can extend into space
-The human and environment cannot be broken into separate entities -The change occurs at the same time, one change does not effect the other
