The Daniel Bryan Ultimate Guide
As the Superbowl equivalent of pro Wrestling (Wrestlemania 30) came to its end, the most coveted prize
every Pro wrestler has been aspiring for – the WWE World Heavyweight Championship – is raised over
his head by WWE’s most famous superstar. He is no other than Daniel Bryan, who is clearly ecstatic
chanting “YES!” along with every single person in the stadium.
Bryan Daniels’ journey to his 4th
world championship belt wasn’t a fast or an easy one. He endured years
of perseverance and training, failures and injuries, and struggles just to keep his career afloat.
Here is an infographic containing juicy information that all fans of Bryan Daniels would love.

Englishman, Nigel McGuinness.

Monday Night RAW in mid-June 0f 2010, where they tore the ring apart in front of a live

 Unfortunately, it also led to Bryan being fired from WWE for being “too violent” on national
television.
(Frame 11)

champion( 18 seconds); in which he lost to Shaemus after getting distracted by a kiss with on-
screen girlfriend AJ.
(Frame 14)
 2012 was incredible for Bryan for most ways. Albeit losing his World Heavyweight Championship
match, he spent 3 months feuding and having excellent matches with WWE champion CM Punk,
with whom he had a brief history in RoH.

dream.
(Frame 15)

company with 90 contests in all.
(Frame 17)
 The “YES Movement” started after Daniel Bryan won his first WWE Championship. He began
shouting “YES!” on his way to the ring and after defeating an opponent.
 The chant grew in popularity even transcending to other major sports events like the MLB, NHL,
and the NBA games. The “YES Movement” entered popular culture as teams and organizations
have been using the chant from 2013 until this day.
(Frame 18)
 Bryan and Kane lost the Tag Team Championship in May of 2013, but at 245 days they hold the
fourth longest reign in history.
(Frame 19)
 Bryan, also dubbed as the Yes/No Man has gained a huge amount of popularity that John Cena
chose to co-headline with him at Summerslam in September of 2013.
 He would go on to defeat Cena cleanly and win his first championship.
 But in a twist of fate like the previous year, he would lose his belt almost immediately thanks to
special guest referee Triple H, who attacked Daniels allowing Randy Orton to win the belt from
Bryan.

 The agreement included a stipulation that the winner would be inserted to the WWE World
Heavyweight Championship match.

 At Wrestlemania XXX, Daniels defeated Triple H and was inserted into the title match.
 Despite suffering an injured shoulder, he went into the main event and defeated Randy Orton
and Batista.
 He won the WWE Heavyweight Championship by making Batista tap out to the “Yes Lock”.
The Birth of a New Era
Daniel Bryan went through a lot of adversities to reach superstardom. He faced a lot of embarrassment
from the company. He was booked to lose matches against far more inferior opponents. He received
tons of criticism about his independent roots from other wrestlers. It was his popularity and the support
of his fans which forced the company to take him seriously.
Bryan’s popularity has gradually expanded to previously unbelievable levels where young and old of all
sexes, colors, creeds relate to his universality, his charisma, his passion, attitude, and most importantly,
his performances.
