Why You Should Be
Providing Solutions To
Problems
Let me ask you a question. How
often do you search for something
online because you need an
answer to a problem? You're
trying to find the solution that will
enable you to get on and do
what you need to do or to
achieve what you need or want
to achieve.
So you go online looking for the
solution to your problem.
Therefore people search for things
online based on the problem that
they have rather than having an
idea of a solution they want!
After all, if you knew the solution
you wouldn't need to be looking
or searching online for something
that was going to solve your
problem. You would already know
how to solve the problem and I
guess you would just get on and
do it!
Therefore in Internet marketing
you should always base your
products and any help that you
provide in your business, on
providing solutions to people's
problems.
If you focus on that then you will be
providing the very thing that people
are searching for.
However you need to make it very
clear that your solution or your product
is the very thing that they need to
solve their problem.
This means that when you talk
about your solution or you talk
about your product you should
base the bulk of the information
around the problem itself instead
of talking about the solution you
are providing.
Doing it this way round enables
you to build a bond with that
person.

It enables you to develop an
understanding and empathy with
that person so that they believe
you understand what their
problem is.
Ideally if you have experienced
that problem yourself, you will be
able to share your story and your
experience and the way you felt
and how it was so frustrating or
annoying for you.
When you are able to do this you
really are able to move your
reader on towards your solution.
Because they know that you
understand their problem.
If you are creating information
products then it is really easy to focus
your information on solving those
problems and that is what you should
be doing in your product.
However when it comes to your sales
page you should focus more on the
benefits as in the long run this will give
you a higher conversion rate.
