Employed as an assistant designer on a freelance basis for an advertisement for the Urdd Eisteddfod; Two days’ work on a busy
advertising campaign. Assisting the designer in set up and resets.

2007- Present Bridgend College
I began my career at Bridgend College on a teacher training basis on placement in the Performing Arts department: Teaching P1 - HND
and HNC; Acting approaches; Performing Arts in Context; Script writing and Devising; Voice and Stage Management. Following my
work experience I applied and was offered the a position as a 0.5 lecturer before becoming a full time lecturer from 2008 in the busy
and thriving department in the School of Creative Arts. My current roles and duties include: Course tutor and co-ordinator of the
Foundation Degree (FD) in Creative Industries Drama (a franchise from the University of South Wales); directing and devising the FD
shows; set and lighting designer and technical support for the FD and BTEC productions; teaching NCFE Acting and Technical theatre;
Scriptwritingand actingfor Television. See attached directing CV for shows devised and directed whilst teaching at Bridgen d College.
2006- 2007 Stagecoach- Swansea, Neath and supply for South Wales
Full time Drama Teacher- Long term contract for two Saturday schools, ages 5-18. Full Time Singing Teacher- Short term contract-
teaching Drama, singing and contemporary dance from ages 4-18- on a supply basis.
1999- 2006 Bridgend County Borough Council- Bridgend Youth Theatre
Working as the Stage Manager and Deputy SM with the senior section of BYT (ages 15-25). Organising props, running the rehearsals
on the book, running the technical and calling the shows.
Teaching Drama,singingand dance to children aged 8-12 and 12-25. Working with the younger children- groups of up to 30+ running
classes and producing shows for outside audiences. Work with the Outreach programs in the Valleys.

Teaching Film and television technique workshops in comprehensive schools around South Wales. The course was an Intensive
weeklong set of workshops for teenagers, working on and off the camera. The course could be adapted for any age group.

Diversities in the workplace: Performance based workshops for Glasgow University and Oxford City Council, teaching adults the
importance of Diversity and Equality. These workshops involved: drama sketches, teamwork and team building games and exercises,
and in depth discussions on equality in the workplace.
A show titled 'Work Experience' toured around secondary schools in the Birmingham area, teaching the importance of work
experience in the school curriculum. This also involved taking a workshop afterwards.
