The	Lansing	Pathway	Promise	is	a	
way	 of	 providing	 real-world	
learning	 opportunities	 for	 our	
students	 that	 will	 give	 them	 a	
distinct	 edge	 for	 career	 and	
college	 readiness.	 	 This	 is	 an	
innovative	 three-path	 approach	
to	 career	 and	 college	 readiness.	
From	 Pre-k	 to	 12th
	 grade,	 the	
Lansing	 Pathway	 Promise	
ensures	 that	 every	 student	 has	
the	opportunity	to	engage	in	real	
world	 21st
	 Century	 learning	
through	 relevant	 partnerships	
with	 area	 businesses,	 agencies	
and	universities.

Q.		How	is	the	bond	
money	going	to	be	used?	
	
A.		If	approved	by	voters	
on	May	3,	2016,	the	
dollars	generated	from	
the	sale	of	bonds	would	
be	allocated	as	shown	on	
this	pie	chart.	
A	school	bond	
election	has	been	
called	for	May	3,	
2016	to	ask	voters	
for	a	$120	million	
investment	in	the	
school	system.	The	
funds	from	this	
election	would	
greatly	enhance	the	
Lansing	Pathway	
Promise.
