Executive Branch  The Executive Branch is in charge of implementing the laws that are created by the legislative branch.
 The head of the executive branch is the President of the United States.  In addition to the President and Vice President, the Executive Branch includes the heads of the executive departments (Department of State, Department of Defense). Interesting Facts about the Executive Branch. 
Jobs of the Executive Branch  The Executive Branch enforces the laws. The Executive Branch’s power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.
Article II Executive Branch  Each state shall appoint, in such a manner as the legislature thereof may direct, a number of senators and represenatives to which the state may be entitled in the Congress; but no senator or represenative, or person holding an office of trust or profit under the United States, shall be appointed an elector.
Some facts from Article II Executive Branch  No one person except a natural-born citizen, shall be eligible to the office of President. In case of removal of the President from office, or of his death, resignation, or inability to discharge the powers and duties of the said office, the same shall devolve on the Vice President. The President shall at stated times receive for his services a compensation.
Section 2 Powers of the President  The President shall be commander and chief of the army and navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into actual service of the United States.
Section 3 Duties of the President  He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the Union.
