SOLDIER EQUIPMENT
and TECHNOLOGY
Expo and Summit
Preparing the Elite: Technology, Equipment,
and Weapons that Help SOF Succeed

Hear from Fort Bragg
Commanders* and subject
matter experts at the all new,
separately bookable Summits!

June 24th -26th 2014
Officers Club, Fort Bragg, North Carolina
Dear Colleague,
Housing more than 20 units and more than one Special Operational Command,
Fort Bragg is without question one of the most important military bases on
the United States Eastern Seaboard. Despite Defense spending cuts Congress
has consistently voiced its wish to funnel more funds into special operations,
making Fort Bragg not only geographically important to Washington, but highly
likely to be one of the few military entities to see an increase in spending. With
this new focus on special operational warfare comes an increased demand for
new and advanced equipment and technology.

’We’ve known for years that when the president dials 911,
the phone rings at Fort Bragg, and with the location of the Special
Forces and forces command, that’s more true now than it’s ever been.”
– Greg Taylor, Fort Bragg Regional Alliance Executive Director
Soldiers are currently challenged with adapting to vastly different theatre
environments, requiring advanced adaptable equipment and compatible
technology to aid their successful completion of missions. As a result, both
the government and private industry must communicate and work together
to ensure that the most cost-effective solution is also the best option for
the men and women that protect our nation and its interests abroad. These
manufacturers of military equipment and technology rely on crucial feedback
from soldiers to identify and fill equipment and technology gaps for future
innovations.
IDGA’s Soldier Equipment & Technology Expo and Summit is your opportunity
to collaborate with key decision-makers and innovators responsible for
producing battle-ready soldiers, as well as hear feedback from those soldiers
on their current equipment and assets. Additionally, you will have the
opportunity to strategize with both military and industry leaders to ensure
those soldiers are best equipped for successful missions in the future.
What makes IDGA’s Soldier Equipment & Technology Expo and Summit your
must-attend event for 2014?

• Exposure to the leaders and highly experienced soldiers

• All New, separately bookable, Summits

	 – Discuss the latest implementation strategies and program

	 	 initiatives
Updated acquisition and operational priorities from Fort Bragg
–

	 	 commanders and division Chiefs

• 30+ interactive exhibitors – unlimited free access to the exhibition

	 hall for all attendees

• Unlimited free access to the exhibition hall and both summits for

	 all military personnel

• Annual Live Fire Day – experience the expo weapons firsthand!
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to hear these topics and many more.
The speakers, sponsors and the IDGA team all look forward to seeing you
in June for the Soldier Equipment and Technology Expo and Summit.
Sincerely,

Meghan Miller

  • 2. 6th Annual SOLDIER EQUIPMENT and TECHNOLOGY Expo and Summit Preparing the Elite: Technology, Equipment, and Weapons that Help SOF Succeed Hear from Fort Bragg Commanders* and subject matter experts at the all new, separately bookable Summits! June 24th -26th 2014 Officers Club, Fort Bragg, North Carolina Dear Colleague, Housing more than 20 units and more than one Special Operational Command, Fort Bragg is without question one of the most important military bases on the United States Eastern Seaboard. Despite Defense spending cuts Congress has consistently voiced its wish to funnel more funds into special operations, making Fort Bragg not only geographically important to Washington, but highly likely to be one of the few military entities to see an increase in spending. With this new focus on special operational warfare comes an increased demand for new and advanced equipment and technology. ’We’ve known for years that when the president dials 911, the phone rings at Fort Bragg, and with the location of the Special Forces and forces command, that’s more true now than it’s ever been.” – Greg Taylor, Fort Bragg Regional Alliance Executive Director Soldiers are currently challenged with adapting to vastly different theatre environments, requiring advanced adaptable equipment and compatible technology to aid their successful completion of missions. As a result, both the government and private industry must communicate and work together to ensure that the most cost-effective solution is also the best option for the men and women that protect our nation and its interests abroad. These manufacturers of military equipment and technology rely on crucial feedback from soldiers to identify and fill equipment and technology gaps for future innovations. IDGA’s Soldier Equipment & Technology Expo and Summit is your opportunity to collaborate with key decision-makers and innovators responsible for producing battle-ready soldiers, as well as hear feedback from those soldiers on their current equipment and assets. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to strategize with both military and industry leaders to ensure those soldiers are best equipped for successful missions in the future. What makes IDGA’s Soldier Equipment & Technology Expo and Summit your must-attend event for 2014? • Exposure to the leaders and highly experienced soldiers • All New, separately bookable, Summits – Discuss the latest implementation strategies and program initiatives Updated acquisition and operational priorities from Fort Bragg – commanders and division Chiefs • 30+ interactive exhibitors – unlimited free access to the exhibition hall for all attendees • Unlimited free access to the exhibition hall and both summits for all military personnel • Annual Live Fire Day – experience the expo weapons firsthand! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to hear these topics and many more.
