Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics of
North Carolina.
First, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to review this letter. The Professional Fire
Fighters & Paramedics of North Carolina are working this year to better our community in many
ways. We are proud to support Camp Celebrate for our 35th year. This camp is held every year in
Wake Forest, and provides a unique experience to the pediatric burn victims in the state of NC. It pro-
vides an opportunity for them to spend time with children who have suffered similar injuries, and al-
lows them to gain a knowledge of recovery that can only be offered through a point of view given to
them by others that have shared in the experience of having been through a burn unit, and are in re-
covery.
Every year we are fortunate enough to be able to provide Fire Safety Activity Books to the 2nd grad-
ers in our communities. These books are an excellent way to make certain that our children have a
strong grasp on fire safety. They teach them how to respond to a fire and the best course of action if
confronted with an emergency. The books also give the parents the opportunity to be involved with
their children's safety education, which as a parent myself, gives me great confidence in knowing
that my kids have the know how that they need to prevent and respond intelligently to a fire. You
would not only be helping to make these books possible, you would also be supporting all the pro-
grams that the fire fighters faithfully provide. We always need help to make our communities a
better, safer and well equipped place to raise our children.
We are also dedicated to programs such as the Burned Out Response. This program offers assistance
to house fire victims in the state, makes sure that they have food clothing and shelter to help them
through such a tragic time. We also support the Fallen Fire Fighters Fund. This offers assistance to the
families of fire fighters that have been injured or lost their life in the line of duty. This includes what-
ever they may need, things such as counseling, financial aid or housing.
The firefighters will be publishing a firefighter journal this year. A cross between information and
news surrounding the firefighter community as well as information detailing the many programs the
firefighters are providing to the communities across the state. We will be offering advertising in the
book this year in which we hope to highlight your business and the dedication that you have shown in
supporting your local firefighters. The journals will be handed out to the thousands in attendance at
our April 2017 Benefit concert . We are excited to work closely with our community in this upcoming
event, and we hope you will allow us to proudly display your business within the vast community of
firefighter paramedic and EMT supporters that have continued year after year to make our efforts a
reality within our communities.
