This position requires me to perform highly complex (senior-level) case management work under limited
supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
I provide Chemical Dependency education, individual and group counseling and reintegration planning to assist the
youth to successfully transition back into the community.
I advise students on academic plan and course selection.

This position requires me to perform highly complex (senior-level) case management work under limited
supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
McFadden Ranch is a large TJJD-operated halfway house for youth who have been adjudicated delinquent of
felony offenses and committed to the agency by a juvenile court.
The youth are generally assigned to McFadden Ranch immediately after completion of the agency's orientation
and assessment process and a determination that they must participate in the high intensity Alcohol or Other
Drugs (AOD) Specialized Treatment Program.
I perform case management work relating to the AOD Specialized Treatment Program.
I provide AOD education/curriculum delivery, individual and group counseling, discharge planning, working
with halfway house staff, parole officers, and contract treatment providers to ensure coordination of service
delivery, and enhancing the continuity of care for youth transitioning from the agency's AOD program.

Provided Medical Orientation to new youth upon arrival to include Suicide Risk Screening, Coordinated all

per physician’s orders and by TJJD policy.
