2. Overall use of Layouters?
• There was a good overall layout of the website with the
header having a direct link to the weather, news, tv genres,
the live channel and the search bar. This is a good use of the
header because the audience can quickly can get to page that
they looking for, this makes the website more user friendly.
• There is a feature on the header where you can pick you area
and will show all of the specific news for that area.
• At the bottom of the home page there is extra information
given about services and weather.
• Overall this website is well put together and is simple and
easy to use. The website’s layout has made it easy for the
audience to engage with the website and TV channel.
3. The use of colour, text, image,
shape and pattern ?
• The website has a dark background but there is a good use of bright
orange and blue. This makes the website more appealing because it is
simple but looks good which makes the audience want to use the
website. And could attract the audience to watch the TV channel.
• There is text with every thumbnail of a tv show, there is enough of a
description so the audience know what the TV show is about but not
to much that audience wouldn't bother reading it. This is good
because it makes it quick and easy for the audience which is what the
they are looking for.
• There are a lot more images compare to text which makes is more
engaging for the audience and they will more likely to use and stay on
the website, the use of a lot of images makes the website more
engaging for the audience because it makes it easier and quicker for
the consumer to get the information they are looking for.
• The shape of the thumbnails are all squares and rectangles and they
are really well put together and has great symmetry. Which makes the
website easy to eyes and the audience will not bored of using the

• There is a good quality of information given about the TV programs, with a
sidebar where the users can flick through the upcoming shows for the rest of
the day. This is significant because the website is there to make it easier for the
audience to engage with the TV channel.
• The audience can watch the current live TV show, also can directly go to a full
TV schedule for the whole the week. Further more this makes it easier for the
audience to watch their TV shows and see when their TV shows are on through
out the week.
• There is a more detailed weather chart with the rest of the weeks weather as

Unified?
• The TV channel and website have the same logo which makes it clear
to the audience that they are linked and whenever who see that logo

• Also just below the header there is the tv channels catch phrase
“your capitals tv channel”. This is also significant because when the
audience hear the catch phrase they know it is a London live TV

• Below the phrase on both the tv channel and website they is a list of
all the tv channels where the programme is aired. Again this makes
the TV channel original and the audiences always know that it is

• Overall the website and TV channel are really well unified by using
the same colours and catch phrase so the audience know they are
linked but the website keeps its originality so the audience would not
get bored of using the website and watching the TV channel.

• As soon as you get on to the website there is a “get involved”
page where the consumers can send in their stories, you film a
