2. Studio Layout
• The studio layout is the way in which each
individual studio room is altered to recreate
sounds differently so that the artist’s ideal re
production of their sounds can be achieved.
3. Pre production, production & Post
Production
• This is the process which takes place in producing a
soundtrack, pre production being the planning before the
soundtrack is recorded, production, the soundtrack being
recorded itself and post production which is the editing of the
final product.
4. Sequencers
• Sequencers are the way in which the track is
laid out, creating the rhythm for the
song, which can be repeated over and over
again.
5. Effects
• – During the editing process there may be a
missing addition which needs to be added to the
track such as reverberation to create an
atmosphere for the sound, instead of re
recording the sound in a room which has been
modified for reverberation you can use
computerized effects which allow the editor to
alter the sound to the ideal which they need it to
be., saving a lot of time in the post production
progress.

• The movement of a file from one location to
another.
• Send files using the local network system EG:
Henley college local network.
• Send files over the internet.
