Duties:
Conduct investigations into criminal activity involving company operations
and assets. This includes the operation of an almost 200 camera surveillance
system and access system that assists in these investigations.
Assist Human Resources and other internal departments as necessary.
Supervise the daily activities of the contract guard service and ensure the
company’s security needs are met.
Provide security awareness training including Workplace Violence and
Active Shooter to all employees on a yearly basis.
Investigate issues involving shipping and receiving discrepancies, identify
root cause and work to recover missing product.
Conduct audits of processes and product to assist in the discovering of
lost product or faulty processes.
Responsible for physical security of the 426,000 sq. foot facility.
Maintenance of all security systems.

Duties:
Supervisor of the Juvenile Unit, which consists of one to two Detectives.
Coordinate all functions of the unit including arrests, detentions, station house
adjustments, community service and all administrative services.
Supervisor of the Evidence Unit, which consists of one Detective and
one Officer. Coordinate the processing of all evidence and property taken in the

Bar Code system, known as, The B.E.A.S.T, to enable efficient identification and
tracking of evidence. System same as used by NJSP labs.
Supervisor of the Records Bureau, which consists of three full time and
four part time civilian employees. Coordinate all records functions for Courts,
citizens and other agencies.
Supervisor of the Computer Services Unit, which consists of one
detective and one civilian. The detective is responsible for approximately fifty
computers and the department server. The civilian is responsible for the New
World Records and NCIC systems and is the TAC Officer.
Other Responsibilities:
Internal Affairs: Full time IA investigator for approximately one year and
was a secondary back up officer after. Responsibilities include investigating
complaints against department personnel, interviewing complainants, and
witnesses, preparing extensive investigative reports, analyzing the information
and data and coming to a logical conclusion, and if warranted, preparing detailed
charges to be presented to the Chief of Police.
Firearms Applications: Perform background investigations and process
applications on applicants for firearms ID cards and pistol purchase and carry
permits. I process approximately 200 applications per year.
Firearms Instructor: Pistol, shotgun, patrol and assault rifle and
automatic sub-machine gun. I am responsible for quarterly qualifications for all
members of the department.
