This document summarizes the unveiling of the world's largest floating Christmas tree in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on November 26, 2011. The 85-meter tall floating Christmas tree was unveiled at Rodrigo de Freitas Lake for its 16th edition. It is as tall as a 29-story building. The tree will be lit up every evening until January 6th. The logo of the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games was also officially launched during the lighting ceremony of the floating Christmas tree.
