6. Neighbor Helping Neighbor Program
It’s so important to
give back to our
community.
For every $100* we give to
help people in crisis,
we ask them to do
1 hour of volunteer service
*The money in this discretionary account does not come from regular donations.
7. Transitional Housing Project
In partnership with the Lamoille Family Center,
we have secured a transitional apart-
ment for their Learning Together
program. Young women and their
children can live in the apartment for
3 to 6 months and learn the skills
necessary to become successful in life.
They then move on to permanent housing.
This project is funded through a generous grant
from the Morrisville Rotary.
8. Our Newest Projects
Emergency Planning for Special
Populations
Identifying everyone in our community
who would need special assistance
In an emergency.
Caregiver Support Group
A once a month meeting where people who are
serving as caregivers can get together and talk with
others who are in the same situation.
9. What did JSC raise in the past year
through their United Way campaign?
JSC
ROCKS! $1,114.00!
If everyone at JSC gave just $1 per
pay period, the college could raise
$6,500!
Thank you for your time in viewing this presentation.
We hope you will consider supporting
our local United Way this year.
