2. Shortcomings
In our readings we were exposed to
several shortcomings of PowerPoint. I
choose to talk about the following two
shortcomings. Click on a link below to
get started or just click the next slide
button.
The ability of the audience to
comment.
The sequentialty of PowerPoint
presentations.
3. Audience Comments
In the article It’s Pointless if We Don’t Practice
What We Preach the author proposed “Where
is the opportunity for the audience who attended
our session to comment?” If the presenter
provided you with their email you could
comment but even then who else could chime
in?
Slideshare provides several opportunites for
viewers to comment and share through social
networking buttons and a comments area that is
followable.

4. Sequentiality
In the article, “PowerPoint is
Evil”, http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/11.09/
ppt2.html, the author talked about how the
“audiences consequently endure a relentless
sequentiality” during the presentation.
Slideshare allows you to add hyperlinks to sites
and slides within the presentation. You can
create a navigable table of contents or provide
the reader with choices during the presentation
to breakup the sequentiality.
