SELECTED RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Managed all aspects of a company region including development of marketing plans,
recruitment, hiring and training of staff, budgeting, P&L, scheduling work and activities,
establishing policies and procedures, procurement of equipment and supplies, client
services, performance evaluations and motivation of employees.
• Turned around an underperforming division of the Ford Motor Company. Reviewed
daily workflow and partnered with departmental managers to identify areas in need of
improvement in productivity, distribution and loss prevention. Established new policies
and incentives while rolling out a new logistics program that reduced fuel costs and
delivery times. Increased profitability in excess of $400K.
• Increased sales revenue for a company branch $1.8M by restructuring the sales
function. Identified end users, and hired sales personnel with synergies in these
markets. Renegotiated with vendors to ascertain who had the capability of fulfilling
large orders in a timely, cost efficient manner. The branch became a viable profit
center with growth.
• Enhanced morale through promotion of a team-based work atmosphere. Provided
assignments of increased responsibility along with opportunities for additional training
and performance incentives that encouraged a sense of ownership in the overall
operation.
• Increased inventory accuracy through research into best practices and restructure of
the Mobile Storage yard into a Pod system. Containers were now identified by marker
and location with the inactive fleet not requiring recount. Count accuracy and count
time improved significantly.
• Reduced operating costs by partnering with the insurance company and IT to develop a
“self billing” insurance program that only insured vehicles while in rent status.
Succeeded in reducing insurance costs thousands per year.
• Merged a recently acquired company into the product mix and operations. Analyzed
utilization by product line, condition of inventory, yard layout and delivery fleet. Sold off
older delivery equipment and successfully converted the acquired company’s fleet to
meet the needs of a highly utilized product line.

atmosphere, got the family involved, and made the employee want to come to work in
the morning.

facility for booth location, partnered in booth design, identified marketing brochures and
giveaways, and managed event staffing. Succeeded in increasing product exposure,
