2. Shot 1 (00:05-00:10)
Description
Tom walks over to Spike, talks about been tied
up. Tutting at the fact that Spike cant move.
Foley Needed
Footsteps, tutting, nodding, sigh
Back ground sounds; birds, cars tree, wind.

3. Shot 2 (00:10-00:15)
Description
Tom starts to pull at the rope attached to the
dog house. Tom and Spike both shake there
heads.
Foley Needed
Creeking (pulling the hut) Thump (Tom foot
hutting the house) Violent tug (pulling rope)
Background noises continues.

4. Shot 3 (00:15-00:20)
Description
Toms pulls the rope through his hands, showing
it will not come off the dogs house. Then steps
over the ropes and walks away.
Foley Needed
Rustling for the head shaking, footsteps, noise
for the rope hitting the floor. Rope been
pulled through Tom’s hands
Backgrounds noises continue

5. Shot 4 (0:15 – 0:20)
Description:
Tom beings to walk away from spike. Draws a
line with his foot. Then leans forward towards
spike.
Foley needed:
Footsteps (wide, walking away from dog). Dirt
noise. Leaning forward noise.

6. Shot 5 (0:20 – 0:25)
Description:
Tom leans forward and hits spike with the newspaper.
Quickly moving back, across the line – spike moves
toward tom in attempt to bite him. Tom then moves his
hand off screen and throws a pie in spike’s face whilst
he’s barking away.
Foley Needed:
A swinging noise as the newspaper flies; a smacking noise
from when the newspaper hits spike. Then loud
barking/dog noises for spike and finally a squelch noise
from the pie hitting spike.

7. Shot 6 (0:25 – 0:30)
Description:
Tom grabs two symbols and smash them around
spikes head whilst spike is still barking
aggressively. He finally punches spike with a
boxing glove on and knocks him out completely.
Foley needed:
A symbol clash noise, loud barking noises. Snare
drum roll to create tension while Tom builds up
the hit for spike. A punching noise for when he
hits him also the noise of spike falling to the
ground been knocked out.

8. Shot 7 (0:30 – 0:35)
Description:
Spike quickly gets back up them tom gets a log of
wood in which spike knarls at making it into a
baseball bat. Tom then hits spike on the head
with the and knocks him out again.
Foley Needed:
Spike carries on barking also a noise of a wood
shredder machine for spike chewing the wood.
Then again a noise of hitting for toms final blow
at spike with the baseball bat.

9. Shot 8 (0:35 – 0:40)
Description:
Spike hits the floor after his face flaps around.
Also tom then uses the baseball bat as a pool
cue and pushes spike back into his doghouse.
Foley Needed:
The noise of the bat hitting spike – actual noise
when hitting a ball. Wood dropping on floor to
represent the dog house breaking when Spike
is pushed back with the bat.
