4. I think that this is one of the top 5 music
videos of 2011, because it is an abstract,
fun and energetic video and would attract
a teenage and young adult audience.
The song portrays teenage emotions, and can relate to them.
This is due to teenagers feeling like they can be in relationships
that are bad for them. Although the video is seen to be ‘weird
but cool’ there is an deeper meaning to it.
The main idea behind the video is that of Gaga getting
kidnapped by a group of supermodels who drug her, and
then sell her off to the Russian mafia for a million rubles.
It takes place in a fluorescent white bathhouse.

5. I believe this video appeals to a
wide audience. As it tells a story of
him arguing with his partner and teenagers
will be able to relate as they argue with a
family/friends/partners. Also it appeals to older ages as it
is a simplistic video but also catchy at the same time.
The video features Lambert becoming frustrated with
his partner (which the audience cannot see). There
are also performance clips throughout the video of
Lambert performing with his band. One scene features
Lambert making his way through a crowd of paparazzi
and fans into a car.

6. I believe this video appeals to teenagers
as it’s a fun, enthusiastic and different
style. This appeals to both boys and girls.
It appeals to girls as they want to look as
good as Katy Perry and be as skinny as
her. On the other hand, it appeals to boys
as they all want to see Katy Perry in
revealing clothes.
In the music video, Perry is a game piece in
Candyfornia, a game based in poker and board
games. The settings are inspired in part by Alice's
Adventures in Wonderland, Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory, and the board game Candy Land,
with much of the set decorated with cupcakes, ice
creams, cotton candy, and lollipops.

7. I think that the video appeals to the
target audience as it is a narrative
and if teenagers are watching music
videos they want something that they
can relate and understand.
The music video shows clips of the band's home
city of Dublin, Ireland and the band performing. It
shows Danny and another girl acting, as if they
have just broken up, and clips of Danny just
singing in a shot on his own, in the style of a vox
pop (looking away from the camera)

8. I believe this video appeals to a wider
audience as it a narrative and has the lyrics in
the video so if people are watching at home
they can sing along and it shows all members
of the band
The video was filmed in front of Chango Coffee
at the corner of Morton Ave and Echo Park Ave
in Echo Park, Los Angeles, California. The
video intercuts images of Train singing with a
woman walking around her apartment and a
man painting the words to the song on the
landscape.
