Teaching has been in my family for several generations so it was only natural for
me to be good with them and enjoy watching them learn. In high school I was in the
Technical Education Center at RESA my senior year while there I shadowed in
classrooms for Kindergarten and Preschool from there on I was set on becoming a fellow
educator. I have done Volunteer work in the Great Start Readiness Program in Port
Huron for the past 3 years. I interned in the Infant and Toddler classroom in Romeo over
the summer of 2014.
• I will receive my Associate in Applied Science for Early Childhood
Education with my ZS Endorsement in June of 2016.
• I have achieved my TEC certificate
• CPR certificate as well.
I believe I will make a strong employee because I am a productive, positive,
organized team player whom has a sense of humor.
I am competent in Teaching Strategies Gold assessments. I am aware of anecdotal
notes and other forms of recording methods used in the center of Infants and Toddlers. I
also am aware of health, safety and nutritional factors that play in a center, I can plan a
well-balanced menu that will nourish the students. While observing and working with
child I will use the 5 domains to assess their developmental stages and see how well they
are progressing.
