Introverts
her thesis is about how our society is based
around extroverted individuals while
Introverted people are looked down upon in
society. Also a healthy society should be
based on a well balance system for both
extroverts and introverts.

Shy- Is a fear of social judgment
Introversion – Is how a person
responds to social stimulation.

audience attention
by starting off with a story from
her childhood while holding a
bag that is used as a metaphor.

using stories, statistics, and metaphors.

I rate Susan a 4 because she lacked
visual representation especially when
she mentions statistics and historical
figures. However her speech was filled
with charisma and stories to keep it
interesting.

tips used
visual representation was not used in Susan Cain’s presentation.
However, she did use a lot of movement
She told several interpersonal stories during her speech, making her
speech structure close to that of Nancy Duarte’s ideal speech.

They both want to change a aspect in our modern society
They both wish to conserve creativity in individuals

12. Differences:
Sir Ken Robinson wishes to change the wholeeducation system
Susan Cain wishes to change societies views on Introverts only
Susan tells more personal stories and also speaks more fluently than
Robinson
However, Robinson seems more comfortable with crowds and
influences audience more.
