1. JSG is currently recruiting for Field Operations Engineers for
Permanent Staff roles in Central Alberta
Job Description:
Working in collaboration with the other members of the
Operations Engineering team, the successful candidate will
contribute as a member of the operating team while
providing operations engineering expertise in order to
maximize the efficient, safe and profitable operation of the
facility.
Specific Accountabilities:
-Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot plant, field and pipeline
operations
-Support facility operation and maintenance departments
-Provide technical support to business development
-Provide technical expertise to work order and management
of change processes
-Develop, justify and execute facility based projects
-Prepare and maintain reference documentation and
drawings
-Actively participate in plant and field planning, scheduling
and budgeting processes
Minimum Qualifications:
-Alberta P.Eng. Designation required
-Min. 5 yrs. engineering experience in implementing projects
and providing operational support for gas processing facilities
-Strong communication, interpersonal, organization and
analytical skills
-Self-starter who is able to work independently
-Experience in natural gas processing
-Familiarity with current regulatory standards and codes
-Valid Driver’s license
