• Parallel means lines that are side by side
and always have the same distance
between distance between them.
• Parallel lines never touch
• They are normally show with arrows on
the line .

• There are three rules coming up that you
will need to memorise for your exam.
• You do not need to make notes as a hand
out will be given but if you want to I will not
stop you.

• When you have 2 or more parallel lines
there are patterns you can spot to help
answer the question.
• The first is called Vertically opposite
angles and these make an X shape.
