Meeting ELCC Standards Standard How my project will be implemented through this standard 1.0: 1.2, 1.3, 1.5 I will be facilitating the development and implementation of our school vision of learning supported by our school community and having community involvement in the enrichment program 2.0: 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 I will be promoting a positive school culture to students, districts and parents, providing an effective instructional program, and applying best practices for student learning 3.0:  3.1, 3.2, 3.3 I will be managing our organization, operations, and resources in a way that will promote a safe, efficient and effective learning environment.  I am committed to managing the program and its resources which is aligned with the school vision. 4.0:  4.1, 4.2, 4.3 I will use collaboration with families and learning community members and respond to the diverse community interests and needs by involving a diverse group of people to support the program 5.0:  5.1, 5.2, 5.3 I will be acting ethically and with integrity and fairness throughout the program to help students gain their maximum potential in alignment with our school mission.  6.0:  6.1, 6.2, 6.3 I will be evaluating and responding to the influences of the larger political, social, economic, legal and cultural context in order to support student learning and advocate for them to ensure a positive learning environment for all students.
Reflection on Learning Challenges/Problems Outcomes Understanding a new environment for building a program Working with individuals to find out more about the program and school vision Understanding the dynamic relationship with districts and the local community Collaboratively work with with districts and communities to build the most effective student learning and support program Understanding the budget constraints with districts and how many students they will support funding for to attend summer program Working with the districts to give them support in writing into student IEP’s to make sure students get the funding for ESY (extended school year) if necessary Potential for staff changes Ensuring staff flexibility and commitment in order to support program needs
