I have proven in the golf industry that I possess the ability to learn and work well with staff, members/players, salespeople,
groundskeepers and maintenance workers effectively and with respect. My extensive experience in subcontracting
(purchasing, negotiations and leadership) further complements and is valuable to running a successful golf operation.
Please find the following which highlights my experience in the golf industry.
HAMLET GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, COMMACK, NEW YORK 2007 -Present
Golf Course Ranger / Starter
 Maintains tee sheets and insures the proper groups are teeing off at the assigned time
 Insure tee times are on schedule,adjust groups as required
 Places single players and twosomes to create foursomes
 Assist members/players with their golfing needs and instruct them on golf rules and etiquette.
 Monitor golf course conditions and operations,as needed, and inform members of course conditions
 Patrols golf course to prevent unauthorized play or non-members from using facilities
 Encourage players to maintain pace of play and adjust pace to eliminate golf course gaps
 Assists injured or ill players
 Updates golf operations as to details of play and other items such as crossovertimes and lead groups status
 Assists with Club Tournaments and Weekly Men and Women Leagues
 Possess extensive knowledge of the USGA Rules of Golf and where needed supports the Head Golf Professional
 Insures golf course rules are followed and take action where appropriate
 Liaison between members and golf course operations
 Utilizes good judgment, initiative, patience and diplomacy with members and staff
 Professional, courteous and respectfulto all members, players and staff
Bag Room / Golf Operations / Golf Range Support (2007-2008)
 Supported all bag room, golf shop,golf range and golf course matters, as required
 Maintained golf range
 Dispense range balls in accordance with club policies
 Golf bag cleaning, storage and maintenance of clubs.
