This way has taken 23 days, 5 journeys back and forth to the learner and office and countless wasted non productive man hours in the assessor team and support service. An ineffective use of resources, at considerable cost to the business and the environment. What I have not added in here are the occasions when staff and learner are sick or go on holiday or simply forget to return the paperwork whereby 23 days can extend to many more days.
Having completed the paperwork with a digital pen, it is transmitted immediately for validation by a internal verifier at the Learning Provider who can phone the Assesor if issues are spotted, resolve them there and then and then automatically update the MIS system – in under 10 minutes
