This is the first project for ENBE subject. The idea of this project is for the students to experience
and appreciate nature.
We will have our first site visit for this project , at River Stone Eco Resort , Sungai Tua. We have to
observe and collect information of our site that related about nature. After that we have to
make an Infografic poster of our findings at the site and make a simple documentary video of
our Experiences at the site visit.

Gathering at the hall
Each group are required to select a site which is 10x10m, and we’ve
finally considered which place we’re taking as our 10x10m site – the
end of the river stream (70% land and 30% water)

(no plants,
grass, or
trees)
Some sceneries that can
be seen from the site.
Sketch #1 : shows the view I saw of the site
Meanwhile…
there’s some reason behind why we choose this site.
RUBBISH WERE
ANYWHERE!!!!
Trees were
vandalized>>>
So we decided to clean them up instead…
Before Clean up After Clean up
1. See
• Scenery – Greens – Full of trees, plants
• River stream – The river flows
• Rubbish
2. Hear
• The sound of Nature : Bird Chirpings, Monkey’s or some other
animal sounds, Cricket’s sounds
• Sometimes, there’s Engine sound – other people who ride
motorcycles and cars for fishing.
3. Taste
• Water – Tasteless
4. Smell
• water smell – from the river
• Fishy smell – fishes smell that the fisher man captures.
• Smell of the trees
• Smell of the rubbish
5. Touch
• Tree trunk – rough
• Soil rough
• Water of the river – really cool and refreshed
• Rubbish - dirty
Species name :
Planorbella trivolvis
Family : Planorbidae

lakeside
Drawing at the left
Shows the structures of snails
and
Do You Know?
Some snails live on land and some live in
water. The body of the snail is soft but
snails have their shellas their
perfect home.
Each snail can lay an
average of 85 eggs and
they hatch in 2 to 4
weeks
Eggs are buried with a
mixture of soil and
mucus
Colour of eggs :
Pink , White, Brown , Yellow
Picture above shows the eggs of the snail.
While the snail is gliding, it’s
top of its foot produces
mucous which allows it
to slide without
hurting itself. They
could cross a razor without
feeling the pain!
Picture above shows the cell diagram of
Spirogra .sp
Picture above shows the water condition of
our site -> Presence of Algae
There are about 6,000
species of green algae.
Many green algae are
single cell.
Species name : Spirogra .sp
It floats passively in
water and has no movement
or locomotion of its own
Spirally twisted
chloroplast, that’s why
it’s called the “Spirogra”
the longest in plant
kingdom
1. the movement of the
contents of one cell (the
male) into the other (the
female)
2. Fertilization occurs,
resulting in a diploid
zygospore (single-
headed arrow)
3. A new cell is formed
•reproduce both sexually and rarely asexually
•Spirogyra simply undergoes intercalary mitosis to form new
filaments.
According to the Brief:
What we have to include into our Video :
a. The introduction about the site and project.
b. The students experience (The things that excite their senses)
etc.
c. Explanation about the relationship of the eco system at the
selected site.
d. A conclusion with and awareness or/with inspiring message.
In this page, we’ve included :
The introduction of the project & the eco-resort ,
What excites our 5 senses
In this page, we’ve included :
What excites our 5 senses , The introduction of our site
In this page, we’ve included :
The rubbish at our site, creatures we found, and the water fight activities
Then we deleted the water fight scene, and added in our conclusion of our site &
awareness & inspiring message as our final part of our video.
