Role: Informatica Developer
Project Description: Client is known primarily as a vendor of Computer Peripherals. The
Customer Account Master System must facilitate Client retirement of the current order
management system, Order Management System, as part of the Client initiative. CAMS will
replace Order Management System main customer account management functionality. As
part of this implementation, it is separated in two different sections that is Initial load, Delta
load. There is a need to validate the functional and non-functional requirements, evaluate
CAM solution architecture and finally deliver the architecture to CAMS.
Responsibilities:
• Analysed and reviewed the Business and Technical requirement documents with the client
• Review the sample files and identify inconsistencies in the metadata like schema
mismatch, encoding issues etc. and report them to the Business Analyst
• Design Complex SQL queries and Informatica mappings, sessions and workflows according
to the requirements, while following the design standards and specifications
• Validate the SQL queries for various sources and perform Unit Testing and End to End
testing on the ETL components.
• Migrating the Informatica components from DEV to UAT to PROD and make sure that they
are in Sync.
• Monitoring the job runs and backs them up on regular basis.
• Attend to bugs and fix them on priority basis.
