FRIDAY 11st April
Arriving in Athens we are met by Inner Faith Travel representatives and
transferred to our hotel. The rest of the day is free to experience Athens.

4. SATURDAY 12th April
TOUR LINK
Our day begins with a visit to the Parthenon’s crowning beauty atop the
Acropolis and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens. From the top of the
hill we will admire the beautifully preserved Thesseum, the Theatre of
Dionysus and the Agora where Socrates taught. We will then walk to nearby
Mars’ Hill (Areopagus) Acts 17:22 where the Apostle Paul delivered his well
known sermon.
Our tour continues with a panoramic tour to see the highlights of Athens; we
pass by the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament House, Presidential
Palace, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Academy, the
University and the National Library.
Afternoon at leisure in Plaka or return by bus to hotel.

5. SUNDAY 13th April
TOUR LINK
Early this morning our tour takes us out of Athens by the Sardonic Gulf via the
historic Corinthian Canal with a photo stop, then onto ancient Corinth Acts
18:18.1t was to this megalopolis where the Apostle, Paul came and worked,
established a thriving church and subsequently sent two of his epistles, now a
part of the New Testament. Here we’ll see all of the sites associated with his
ministry; the Agora, the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Odeon, the Bema and
Gallic’s seat. We’ll also visit the small archaeological museum, an absolute
must.
We continue to visit Lechaion and also see the ruins of early Christian 5th
Century basilica at the ancient port of Cenchreae before returning to Athens.

6. MONDAY 14th April : ONE DAY CRUISE
TOUR LINK
Today we offer the enjoyment of a cruise in just
one-day to the Greek Islands of Pores, Hydra
and Aegina, including lunch on board and
round-trip transfers by bus. We sail at 8:15am
from the Port of Piraeus.
First stop is Poros where the first naval arsenal of independent Greece was
established. Poros provides delightful scenery marked by the low pine-wooded
hills. From here we continue our voyage to Hydra, fashionable artists’ colony, a
retreat of intellectuals and a favourite film location. An amphitheatric town rings
the colourful harbor with well preserved sea-merchant family mansions. Leisurely
we have time for strolling, shopping or swimming
(weather and sea permitting).
Our last port of call is Aegina, an attractive and tranquil resort place. Here we can
either join the optional excursion to the Temple of Aphaia; one of the finest and
the best preserved of the Greek temples, or walk leisurely around the harbour or
browse in the small gift shops. Return back to Piraeus (the port of Athens) in the
early evening around 7:00p.m. Transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight (B-DJ)

7. TUESDAY 15th April
TOUR LINK
This morning is devoted to a fascinating tour of the ancient sanctuary of the
god Apollo In its dramatic setting on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Hear
about the Oracle and tour the EXCAVATIONS. End the day with a visit to the
ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM to admire the Charioteer, an extraordinary Sixth
Century BC bronze statue, before we return to Athens for overnight. (B. D)
WEDNESDAY 16th April
Depart Athens for Tel Aviv Israel. We are met by Inner Faith Travel
representatives. We visit Independence hall followed by a tour of ancient
Joppa and Simon the Tanners home. Overnight Tel Aviv (B·DJ)

8. THURSDAY 17th April
TOUR LINK
Today we continue to the Carmel markets for some bargain hunting.
We then head for the Old Port in Tel Aviv for lunch at Max Brenners and enjoy
time on the board walk with shopping and also a dip in the Mediterranean Sea.
The rest of the afternoon is free to wander these ancient streets filled with
cafes and art galleries. Overnight Tel Aviv (B-D)
FRIDAY 18th April
This morning we visit the Mediterranean Sea port of Caesarea site of Herod’s
Palace and the home of Cornelius where Paul was brought to trial. We head
north to Mt. Carmel where Elijah called down fire from heaven upon the
prophets of Baal. We continue to the Valley of Armageddon where the final
battle will take place and Ps. VIC will teach on this subject. We drive through
Cana where He performed His first recorded miracle and overlook Nazareth

9. SATURDAY 19th April SHABBAT
TOUR LINK
Today we head north to Mt. Arbel and a short walk on the Jesus Trail, then on
to CAESAREA·PHILLIPI where Peter confessed his faith in Jesus. We also visit
the NATURE PRESERVE TEL DAN, and the VALLEY OF TEARS OVERLOOK before
moving on to Nimrod’s Castle.

10. SUNDAY 20th April
TOUR LINK
Today we concentrate on the Sea of Galilee area. Firstly we take a traditional
sailing vessel across the Sea of Galilee, stopping midway devotions and prayer. We
disembark at NOF GINNOSAR, a Kibbutz to inspect the remains of a boat from the
time of Jesus. We head to MT. OF BEATITUDES where Pastor Robyn will read the
Sermon on the Mount before moving on to visit TABGHA. After this we visit
CAPERNAUM, the town of Jesus and visit the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus
performed many miracles. See the excavations of Peter’s house and then WATER
BAPTISMS or rededications in the JORDAN RIVER with Pastor VIC & Pastor Robyn
close to where John the Baptist baptised our Lord. Following which we enjoy ST.

MONDAY 21st April
We commence our day with a visit to the IDF for an information session.
We head South through the Jordan Valley to the Decapolis city of BEIT SHEAN
where Saul’s headless body was hung on the gates of the city. A stop at Jericho to
view a Sycamore Tree, Elijah’s Well and the Tell of Jericho (security permitting).

11. TUESDAY 22nd April
TOUR LINK
Enjoy a day of relaxation at the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is famous for floating,
relaxing and specialized Spa treatments. Treatments should be booked in

WEDNESDAY 23rd April
A visit to MASADA via cable car takes us to
the site of the last heroic 3 year stand of 960
Jewish defenders against the Roman Empire.
From the heights we view Jordan and the
Dead Sea. Next we visit EN GEDI where David
took refuge from Saul and then to QUMRAN
where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

12. THURSDAY 24th April
TOUR LINK
We explore the MOUNT OF OLIVES, walk the PALM SUNDAY ROAD, visit
CAIAPHAS’ HOUSE, the OLD CITY JEWISH QUARTER, SOUTHERN STEPS and
finally GOLGOTHA where we participate in COMMUNION SERVICE at the
EMPTY TOMB with Pastors Vic and Robyn. Later, we’ll visit with a congregation
in Jerusalem for worship. Overnight JERUSALEM (B-D)
FRIDAY 25th April
Our day begins with a visit to the ancient city of Jerusalem. We make our way
to the Old City, the Temple Mount, Pools of Bethesda, St. Ann’s Church, and
Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Antonio Fortress, and finally along the Via
Dolorosa. Jerusalem’s amazing atmosphere sets it apart from any other city in
the World and as we explore and walk where Jesus walked, the Bible continues
to come alive.
We visit with a congregation in Jerusalem to worship (subject to availability).

13. SATURDAY 26th April
TOUR LINK
FREE DAY Shabbat. Take this opportunity to relax or visit with a local
congregation.
SUNDAY 27th April
Our day begins with a visit to the Western Wall (Wailing Wall) then to the
Western Wall tunnels and city of David and Hezekiah’s Tunnels. We then go to
Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial, built in memory of the 6 million Jews
lost in the Holocaust. Guests often find this to be a truly moving experience.

SUNDAY 27th April
Arriving in the NEW CITY, we’ll stop by the Prayer Tower for a prayer watch
and a visit to a local ministry. Next we visit the Israel Museum and THE SHRINE
of the book which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model City (a quarter
acre replica model of Jerusalem in the time of Christ which included the Jewish
Temple). This afternoon we have an opportunity to take part in an
Archaeological Dig at one of the sites under repair. We celebrate the tour end
with a Farewell Dinner. Overnight Jerusalem (B-D)

14. TUESDAY 29th April
TOUR LINK
Early morning transfer to airport for departure to Athens. (A day room will be
provided at the airport for a few hours if required) where we connect with our
flight home or to other European Cities. (Meals on plane)

Arrive home with memories and a new found appreciation of the Scriptures.
