Editor's Notes
Customer care consists of 2 parts – Incident Management, and Order Management. The latter only uses SAP, while the former uses SFDC.
Customer care consists of 2 parts – Incident Management, and Order Management. The latter only uses SAP, while the former uses SFDC.
1) Updated Pricing in SAP system: Sales rep negotiates price according to business rules for margin and region (business rules set by PMs). For exceptions, PM gets notified to approve or deny
2) Customer Master Data Syncing: In SAP, this data is in hierarchical format. The SAP Table Connector can automatically create hierarchies in Salesforce
3) Open Order Information to Sales team: Once the customer is ready, they’ll notify Customer Service (Order Management), who creates an order in SAP and notifies Sales in Salesforce
4) Operational Analysis: Getting Accounting data into SFDC and creating dashboards for the Finance team
Informatica Cloud is powered by Vibe, the same technology that powers the virtual data machine that runs the secure agent. Thus, you use Informatica Cloud to store the various metadata mappings, and upon run-time, the data moves directly from source to target through the execution of the Vibe Secure Agent.
